Letterpress is an antique style of printing dating back to the mid-15th century. Wanting a design outlet that allowed me to use my hands and to create art is what led me to create Lineville Letterpress.

Growing up I loved to tinker with things and use my hands. Lego’s were my favorite toy. I knew that I’d love working on computers all day but didn’t want to lose that aspect of working with my hands and feeling something tangible at the end of the day. That’s when I found and fell in love with letterpress. Letterpress is an antique style of printing dating all the way back to mid-15th century. It has had a resurgence lately and I’ve been happy to jump on the bandwagon.

I created my company, Lineville Letterpress, in 2014. I looked high and low and found my first press - a 1950 Chandler & Price. Over the years I’ve acquired two more machines - a 1947 tabletop Kelsey and a 1937 Heidelberg Windmill but my C&P is my main workhorse. I’m still on the hunt for a Vandercook No 4 so if you have any leads - hit me up!

I love letterpress because it’s where I get to jump outside of my day-to-day corporate life and create unique items, gifts and dabble in invitations for birthdays, weddings and other events.

Below is a collection of some of the items that I’ve designed and printed. See more at http://linevilleletterpress.etsy.com.
